![]() ![]() READ MORE: Splash Around In More Las Vegas Strip P ools » Many have incorporated adult-only pools to allow some rugrat-free recreation, and with a little digging you’ll even discover some “toptional” options like the Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, or the Radius Rooftop Pool at The STRAT. Children are typically not allowed access to casino floors and other gaming areas, bars, nightclubs and select pools, but they are welcome in most other public spaces and as hotel guests. While many resorts cater to adults, there are no true adult-only properties on the Las Vegas Strip. You can even go a little more unfiltered and uncensored when guaranteed to not be in the presence of children. They offer opportunities for romance, adult conversations and upscale cuisine at exclusive restaurants. Adults-only resorts are typically more modern, with newer amenities and state-of the-art-technology. For adults sans children, continuing that environment in a vacation setting is often a priority. There are many reasons to take a trip, one of which is relaxation. Why choose adults-only resorts?Īs a parent, there is great appeal to the idea of a child-free vacation, but that’s not the only group who finds this concept enticing. While only about 5% of Las Vegas’ visitors report traveling with children under the age of 21, the growth of a “ no kids allowed” mantra is an enticing marketing strategy. While some hotels have found their niche with kid-conscious activities and ambiance, others offer a more mature side as adults only resorts on the Strip, or close to it. ![]() The artifacts are all interesting and is fascinating to see what lasted on the ocean floor to be on display before you, including money, playing cards, shoes, glasses, hair brushes, bottles, jewelry, and plate ware. The Las Vegas Strip is first and foremost an inhibition-free escape for adults. Great re-creations and diaramas as well as a huge piece of the ship that was amazing to stand before and know it was not only the Titanic but had been resting on the ocean floor for a century…just incredible. Very immersive in hearing about their backgrounds, travel plans, the why’s behind them, and how they ‘cruise shipped’ back in the day.Ī big takeaway that is still present today is how big corporations will push to the limits to achieve publicity even if it has the potential for catastrophic failure as was the case of pushing the Titanic almost to her limits in iceberg infested waters. Really enjoyed learning more about the Titanic, just when you think you know it all from the movie and all the documentaries, still learned lots more at an intimate level regarding the crew and passengers. There’s a cute gift shop, it’s expensive, but you won’t find these items elsewhere in vegas. ![]() There’s a couple of VIP treatments such as guided tours, CSI trials and activities but the basic ticket does more than enough. The staff are knowledgable and you can spring for a private tour if you want some further information (having overheard them, it’s for people who can’t be bothered to read the exhibits) The original court room where the Mob were on trial is still in tact, you can sit inside and listen to fantastic staff and videos about the trials that occurred there, the judges bench, counsel tables and decor is all original. The coolest part is the building itself was a court house before being purchased from Law Enforcement by the locals and turned into a museum. There’s gruesome areas explaining death which can be avoided if needed. You’ll learn about Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel (who built the Flamingo casino, the first of its kind!!!) and crime families. Not just the history of the mobs and how Vegas came to be with its casinos, but also a history of crime, law enforcement and how crime is dealt with today. This is 3 floors of genuinely interesting a cool info. It did get busy around 14:00pm when I visited however it’s open until 21:30pm so if I revisited, it would be in the evening. If you book on here or then the process is easy, you’ll be given a wrist band. An Uber from a Strip hotel will cost you about $13-16 traffic and day of the week depending. It’s a little off the strip, about a 2 minute walk from Fremont Street. Please please please take your time to visit this Museum. ![]()
